Job description :

We are looking for fresh graduates in Engineering (BE / BTech) with IT (Information Technology / Computer Science). Successful candidates must work in one or more technologies, which may include Windows and virtualization, networking, databases (SQL and MY SQL), storage and backup. 

Job position: recent engineering graduates

Type of employment: Full time

Location: Bangalore

Experience: Fresher – 2 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

Proactive monitoring and implementation of health checks of the IT environment. 

Work on user tickets

Perform remote troubleshooting.

Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems.

Test alternate paths until you resolve the issue.

Follow ITIL processes.

Understand and follow all customer specific processes.

Working with seniors and team members 

Work during the customer's working hours

Willing to work after hours, including weekends, if the role requires. 

Take unresolved issues to the next level

Continue with the end user.

Be prepared to relocate to other Zensar locations. 

Ticket sorting / categorization / prioritization / assignment.  

Escalation of serious IT incidents,   

Currency of AD user record, network share access, account setup/termination  

Provide high quality customer service on inbound and outbound calls. 

Provide effective and efficient resolution of inquiries by taking ownership of first call resolution. 

Identify opportunities to provide information on additional value-added services.  

Participate in formal and informal training. 

Education and Skills:

fresh engineering graduates (BE / BTech) with IT (Information Technology / Computer Science) background

adhere to agreed or documented IT operational processes and ensure they are consistently applied to maintain high quality and efficient IT service delivery.  

Maintain and improve key performance indicators. 

Participation in improving the quality of service provision  

Active team involvement and cultural change within the Service Desk team 

Comply with all infosec policies. 

Should be prepared to work 24 x 7 rotating shifts as required by the role.
