Job description :
Vestas Power Solutions is the research and development function of Vestas. Through innovation, development and continuous improvement, we develop products and technologies that reduce energy costs and deliver the highest possible value to our customers and Vestas. Within the Vestas Power Solution business unit, the Control Hardware Module department is responsible for the design and development of low-voltage control panels and the control system across the various sections of the wind turbine.

Roles and Responsibilities:
You will be part of a team providing engineering solutions for our Turbine Control Software product portfolio and support portfolio expansion and new product development.
Resolve field and RCA reported issues and resolve issues related to operating turbines Support a worldwide service technical team that keeps our turbine fleet running
Support of the sales organization by solving requests for new solutions and developing technologies
The work involves a high level of engineering, i.e. balancing solutions against various specific requirements
Solving problems specific to personal systems in the turbine and developing solutions in close collaboration with the system leads
Education and Skills:
Education Qualification: B. Tech / B.E / MTech / ME – CSE, ECE, EEE
C++ development experience
Good knowledge of scripting languages such as python and SQL
Control system experience using MATLAB Simulink (optional)
Understanding of continuous integration solutions with e.g. Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite
