Volvo is looking for Application Support in Bangalore.

Job Title: Application Support

Type of employment: Full time

Location: Bangalore

Experience: Fresher

Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor application services and VGCS solutions.

Be available and communicate with end users via phone and email

Answer and handle phone or email calls professionally and efficiently

Pay attention to functional and technical questions and issues that arise in supported applications

Log and diagnose each call/email in the case management tool according to pre-defined policies and procedures

Track and seek solutions to application issues - follow-up with end users, business and various support teams

Be responsible for effective and efficient end user relationship management

Follow the defined escalation path for outstanding issues

Take the necessary steps to speed up the resolution process

Provide or communicate the appropriate solution to the customer in a timely manner

Adhere to predefined SLAs

Education and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Excellent knowledge of the spoken and written English language

0-2 years of technical support/application support experience

Working knowledge of running/writing basic SQL queries

Basic knowledge of programming in any technology

Open for shift work - 24×7

Excellent communication, telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Self-starter, proactive, hardworking, good attitude and be a team player
